Ylang ylangÂ
Cananga odorata
Primarily produced in Indonesia and Madagascar. Traditionally used for perfumery, cosmetics and hair care preparations. Pharmacologically, it is reported to use for control of epileptic seizure and, with multiple effects on the circulatory, mind, reproductive system and a valuable component for skin care preparations.
Scent - Base note
Powerful floral and intensely sweet odour, pleasantly soft and sweet, steam distilled from the freshly flowers, the scent is extremely passionate, feminine, charismatic, erotic and sensual.
Anti-depressant, Anti-spasmodic, aphrodisiac, hypotensive, sebum regulator, sedative.
 Dry and dehydrated skin, frigidity, hypertension, hair damaged with split ends, impotence, PMS, palpitations, tachycardia (rapid heart beat).
Topical application - massage, compression, bath, ointment, liniment, skin care;
Inhalation - direct inhalation, diffusion, vaporisation.
Vaporiser oilÂ
An extreme passionate, feminine, charismatic, erotic and sensual fragrance. This oil blends well with citrus oil especially grapefruit and floral oils.
Switch on vaporiser to the maximum, add a few drops of Ylang ylang oil alone or with blended essence according to the area size and intensity, and allow the oil to evaporate to saturate the environment. Ensure all windows and doors are closed.
General regarded as safe. Excessive usage can cause nausea or headaches in hypotension. Perform patch and/or scent test before use. For any skin allergic reactions, run tap water or cool compress on affected areas until redness subsided. Store essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place and avoid sunlight and keep children out of reach.
Essential oils are not safe to apply on the skin undiluted nor to consume any small amounts which can cause significant poisoning.
