The Starting Point
Lucy's passion for Essential oils began in the year 1994. Her daughter was born with respiratory distress syndrome (RDS) and was referred to the ICU Paediatric Ward when she had a relapse with bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) three months later. The Specialist had informed her of her daughter's condition and asked the family to pray for a miracle. At that moment Lucy had entrusted her daughter to God and put all her hope in Him.
The next day a friend had arrived from Hong Kong with Frankincense, Lavender and Peppermint at hand. Her friend shared her son’s acute asthmatic experience with the oil and persuaded Lucy to dab the essence on her daughter's gown. To everyone's surprise, she was able to regain her breathing momentum even when the ventilator was removed the following day and thereafter, she was discharged two days later. Her daughter begun with oil medication prescribed by Ms Clair Rennett, a certified aromatherapist practitioner from Lichfield, England.
The Journey
From then on, Lucy embarked on a new journey in aromatherapy under the supervision of Ms Clair Rennett the following three years and started her own aesthetic aromatherapy practice and continue her studies on clinical aromatherapy with the Health School, Australia
As a teacher, practitioner cum spa consultant, she had created her own line of aromatherapy products to teach and help people to incorporate aromatherapy into their lives. Lucy consequently began her clinical practice in the year 1997 and operated an aromatherapy and massage training centre with designed modules accredited by the International Aromatherapy & Aromatic Medicine Association, IAAMA, in the year 2010.
Equipped with over more than twenty years of experience, research, learning, and teaching, it is Lucy's hope that more people will have the opportunity to understand the therapeutic values and application of essential oils.
