Produced in East India. Traditionally, it's one of the oldest aromatic herb used for treatment of gonorrhoea and urinary tract infections. Pharmacologically, the diuretic, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory therapeutic properties truly benefits the lymphatic, respiratory and urinary infections. It is also has a reputable sedative effect on the nervous system.Â
Scent - Middle-base note
Sweet-woody, balsamic, sedating to the mind- extracted from heart wood.
Anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, anti-spasmodic, astringent, carminative demulcent, diuretic, emollient, expectorant, sedative, tonic.
Asthma, bacterial infections candida, fungal infections, gonorrhoea, herpes simplex 1, respiratory infections, scalp and skin irritations, urinary tract infections.
Topical application -Â massage, bath, compression, douche, skin care;
Inhalation -Â direct inhalation, diffusion, steam inhalation, vaporisation.
Vaporiser oilÂ
Sandalwood oil relaxes the nerves when agitated emotional states that lead to insomnia and nervous tension. The promising sweetness evolves well with citrus and floral oils.
Switch on vaporiser to the maximum, drop a few drops of Sandalwood oil alone or with blended essence according to the area size and intensity, and allow the oil to evaporate to saturate the environment. Ensure all windows and doors are closed.
General regarded as safe. Perform patch and/or scent test before use. For any skin allergic reactions, run tap water or cool compress on affected areas until redness subsided. Store essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place and avoid sunlight and keep children out of reach.
Essential oils are not safe to apply on the skin undiluted nor to consume any small amounts which can cause significant poisoning.
