Petitgrain

Citrus aurantium

Produced in Paraguay. Petitgrain exhibits similar properties as Orange and Neroli essential oils for its valuable tonic for the mind with strong stabilising effects on the nervous system.

Scent - Middle note

Fresh-fruity, floral-herbaceous, stabilise the mind- expressed from the leaves of bitter orange.

Antibacterial, antidepressant, anti-inflammatory, sedative, antispasmodic, cicatrisant, stomachic.

Acne, blemishes, chronic hepatitis, colic, mastitis, herpes, oily skin, respiratory infection, tachycardia (rapid heart beat), vaginitis.

Topical application - massage, compression, bath, ointment, liniment, skin care;

Inhalation - direct inhalation, diffusion, vaporisation.

Vaporiser oil 

Petitgrain uplift, refresh nervous exhaustion and stress related conditions. This pleasant aroma proves to calm mind and blends well with bergamot, orange, neroli and geranium. 

Switch on vaporiser to the maximum, drop a few drops of Petitgrain oil alone or with blended essence according to the area size and intensity, and allow the oil to evaporate to saturate the environment. Ensure all windows and doors are closed.

General regarded as safe. Perform patch and/or scent test before use. For any skin allergic reactions, run tap water or cool compress on affected areas until redness subsided. Store essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place and avoid sunlight and keep children out of reach.

Essential oils are not safe to apply on the skin undiluted nor to consume any small amounts which can cause significant poisoning.
