PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Peppermint

Mentha pepirita

Produced in United States. Herb mints have been used for medicinal preparations for centuries but only in the 16th century, the oil made its first appearance with significant analgesic actions with multiple effects on the digestive, lymphatic, nervous and respiratory system. 

SCENT- Top note

Strong grassy-minty, balsamic-sweet- extracted from the partially dried herb.

THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES

Anaesthetic, analgesic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, cholagogue, choleric, digestive, stimulant, tonic, vasoconstritor.

RECOMMENDED INDICATIONS

Asthenia, dyspepsia, fever, flatulence, indigestion, respiratory infections.

RECOMMENDED USAGE

Topical application - massage, compression, bath, skin care;

Cold Compression

For relieve of pain and fever, add one drop of Peppermint into a bowl filled with tepid water, saturate a hand towel, wring off excess water and compress the hand towel on the forehead; or on the body; or on the affected areas. Repeat the procedures if necessary.

Inhalation - direct inhalation, diffusion, vaporisation.

Vaporiser oil 

Peppermint  relieves mental fatigue, clear mind and nasal congestion. A potent oil that truly stimulate the mind when blended with cypress, eucalyptus, grapefruit, juniper, lemon and rosemary.

Switch on vaporiser to the maximum, drop a few drops Peppermint alone or with blended essence according to the area size and intensity, and allow the oil to evaporate to saturate the environment. Ensure all windows and doors are closed.

SAFETY GUIDELINES

This oil is contra indicated to G6PD and general regarded as safe. Perform patch and/or scent test before use. For any skin allergic reactions, run tap water or cool compress on affected areas until redness subsided. Store essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place and avoid sunlight and keep children out of reach.

Essential oils are not safe to apply on the skin undiluted nor to consume any small amounts which can cause significant poisoning.
