Produced by Guatemala, Madagascar, the Comoros Islands, Brazil, Malaysia and Vietnam.Traditionally used to treat colds, headache, stomach ache, abdominal pain and rheumatic pain. Clinical studies reported it exhibits excellent anti-fungal and anti-microbial properties for the digestive system and, astringent property for the connective tissue of the musculoskeletal system.
Scent - Top-middle note
Strong grassy-herbaceous, refresh and energise the mind- distilled from dried glass.
Analgesic, antidepressant, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory astringent, deodorant, fungicidal, galactagogue, insecticidal, nervine, sedative, vasodilator.
Colitis, excessive perspiration, gastroenteritis, indigestion, insect inhibition, open pores skin, sports injuries.
Topical application - massage, compression, skin care;
Inhalation - direct inhalation, diffusion, vaporisation.
Vaporiser oilÂ
The refreshing scent of lemongrass is uplifting and energising, stimulating logical thinking and clearing mind and helps concentration. A powerful tool to repel insects and blends extremely well with all citrus, woody, minty and herbaceous families.Â
Switch on vaporiser to the maximum, add a few drops of Lemongrass oil alone or with blended essence according to the area size and intensity, and allow the oil to evaporate to saturate the environment. Ensure all windows and doors are closed.
General regarded as safe. Perform patch and/or scent test before use. For any skin allergic reactions, run tap water or cool compress on affected areas until redness subsided. Store essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place and avoid sunlight and keep children out of reach.
Essential oils are not safe to apply on the skin undiluted nor to consume any small amounts which can cause significant poisoning.
