Produced in Australia. Traditionally discovered in 1853 for treatment of influenza. Clinical studies reported its reputable antiseptic, expectorant and strong antibacterial activity with immeasurable therapeutic actions benefiting the respiratory system.
Scent - Top note
Refreshing slightly camphoraceous extracted from the leaves.
Analgesic, anti-catarrhal, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antiviral, decongestant, expectorant, deodorant, diuretic, hypoglycaemic, rubefacient.
Bronchitis, insect bites, aches and pains, colds, respiratory infections, rheumatism, shingles, sinusitis,
Topical application - massage, compression, bath, liniment;
Inhalation - direct inhalation, diffusion, steam inhalation, vaporisation.
Vaporiser oil
Eucalyptus oil renown for its respiratory properties is also beneficial for headaches, neuralgia and nervous debility. This potent oil is capable of destroy microbial activity as well as to repel insects. This oil blends well with thyme, rosemary and cedarwood.
Switch on vaporiser to the maximum, add a few drops of Eucalyptus oil or with blended essence according to the area size and intensity, and allow the oil to evaporate to saturate the environment. Ensure all windows and doors are closed.
Possible hepatotoxic. Avoid use for infants and children under two years. Perform patch and/or scent test before use. For any skin allergic reactions, run tap water or cool compress on affected areas until redness subsided. Store essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place and avoid sunlight and keep children out of reach.
Essential oils are not safe to apply on the skin undiluted nor to consume any small amounts which can cause significant poisoning.
