Palma Rosa
Cymbopogon martini
Produced in India. Traditionally in India, the oil was used to alleviate lumbago and rheumatism and, to relieve stomach disorders. Pharmacologically, it was reported to exhibit strong anti-fungal and antibacterial properties for treatment of digestive and integumentary ailments and, hydrating property for dehydrated skin.
Scent - Top-middle note
Fresh-dried grassy, floral-rosy, calming, uplifting - distilled from fresh or dried grass.
Antibacterial, anti-fungal, antiviral, immunostimulant, cicatrisant, hydrating, nervine and uterine tonic.
Digestive disorders, dehydrated skin, immune debility, lack of appetite, restlessness, stress and scars.
Topical application - massage, compression, bath, ointment, liniment, skin care;
Inhalation - direct inhalation, diffusion, vaporisation.
Vaporiser oilÂ
Palmarosa calms and yet, uplift emotions and restlessness. It mingle well with citrus and floral fragrance and emits a soothing and comforting aroma when blended.
Switch on vaporiser to the maximum, drop a few drops of Palmarosa oil alone or with blended essence with other desired essential oil according to the area size and intensity, and allow the oil to evaporate to saturate the environment. Ensure all windows and doors are closed.
General regarded as safe. Perform patch and/or scent test before use. For any skin allergic reactions, run tap water or cool compress on affected areas until redness subsided. Store essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place and avoid sunlight and keep children out of reach.
Essential oils are not safe to apply on the skin undiluted nor to consume any small amounts which can cause significant poisoning.
